About the Author

Sally has been involved in the design industry in various fields for the past 29 years. One of het greatest passions is sharing her knowledge and the joy of design with other people.

After completing a BA (Hons) Degree in Fashion Design Sally worked in the clothing manufacturing industry in South Africa for 9 years before moving back to her home town to start a Hand Printed Textile Company, Caversham Textiles. After 7 years of hand printing the company made a shift to digital and ultimately also shifted focus form Textiles to general Surface Design expanding the product offering to all areas including homeware, ceramic mugs, stationery and gift wrap.

This love of design and sharing knowledge culminated in the introduction of in-person design workshops which having proved incredibly popular have now been transformed into online courses in order to expand the reach beyond just the local KZN Midlands.
